Congratulations to our 29 international students who successfully joined Universitas Andalas after going through a highly competitive selection process with 1,590 applicants from around the world.
As they begin their academic journey at Unand, the International Office Universitas Andalas conducted a faculty visit on August 24, 2026, to help our new international students become familiar with their academic environment and new campus community.
The visit covered 11 faculties across Universitas Andalas:
- Faculty of Economics and Business
- Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
- Faculty of Information Technology
- Faculty of Humanities
- Faculty of Animal Science
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Nursing
- Faculty of Social and Political Sciences
- Faculty of Medicine
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Law
Through these visits, students had the opportunity to learn more about their faculties, study programs, academic facilities, and available services, while also meeting faculty leaders and members of the academic community.
More than an introduction to campus, this activity is part of our commitment to ensuring that international students receive the support they need from the very beginning of their journey at Unand.
We also continue to strengthen collaboration between the International Office and faculties to create an academic environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for students from around the world.
