Step 2: Tuition Fees and Scholarship Opportunities

At Universitas Andalas, we are committed to providing world-class education at an affordable cost. Our tuition fees are designed to be accessible for international students while maintaining the high academic standards expected of one of Indonesia’s leading universities. Scholarships are also offered to international applicants who wish to pursue graduate programs at Universitas Andalas. These scholarships aim to support academic excellence and promote global engagement.

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to complete their online application through the registration provided on io.unand.ac.id.
Please visit the website, tap Admission, then select Registration to begin your application,

Please ensure the following documents are included in your application:

1. Academic Certificates: Degree and transcript (in English or Bahasa) with minimum GPA*
2. Application Letter: Addressed to the Rector of Universitas Andalas (template available on the registration page)
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV): (template available on the registration page)
4. Valid Passport: Scanned copy
5. Medical Certificate: Issued by a licensed doctor within the last 2 months
6. English Proficiency Certificate: with minimum requirements**
7. Recommendation Letter (Master & Doctoral only): From a referee who can assess your qualifications.
8. Scientific Publications (Doctoral only): At least 2 Scopus-indexed journal publications.
9. Supervisor Approval (Doctoral only): Written confirmation from prospective supervisor.

* A minimum GPA

• GPA of 3.00/4.00 (Tuition Fee Scholarship)
• GPA of 3.25/4.00 (Partial Scholarship)
• GPA of 3.50/4.00 (Full Scholarship)

** A minimum English proficiency certificate

• TOEFL 400, IELTS 5.0 or equivalent (Tuition Fee Scholarship)
• TOEFL 450, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent (Partial Scholarship)
• TOEFL 500, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (Full Scholarship) 

Incomplete applications may not be considered for evaluation. We encourage applicants to carefully review all requirements before submitting their application.

Step 4: Respond to Your Acceptance

Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Acceptance by email.

To confirm your enrollment for the specified academic year, please respond to the email confirming your intention to study at Universitas Andalas.

Step 5: Prepare for Your Studies at Universitas Andalas

Before beginning your academic journey, you must complete the following administrative procedures:
