Today, on August 17, 2025, Universitas Andalas celebrated Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day with a heartwarming ceremony at the Rectorate Square. Our international students added a special touch by wearing traditional clothing from their home countries, bringing vibrant color and cultural pride to the celebration.

Their presence was a beautiful symbol of unity in diversity, showing how cultures from around the world come together to honor this meaningful day.
