On May 21, 2024, the head of the International Office at Universitas Andalas cordially greeted twelve students from the Department of Nursing Science at Universiti Malaya who were visiting the office. These students will be participating in the two-week Andalas University Inbound Program, where they will receive education in nursing management at the Department of Nursing of Universitas Andalas and M. Djamil Hospital, while immersing themselves in Minangkabau culture, cuisine, and scenic landscapes. They will stay in the the International University Dormitory in Limau Manis Campus.

Dr. Rina Marnita AS, the Head of the International Office, expressed her delight at the arrival of twelve foreign students at Unand. She was pleased to see international students showing interest in studying Indonesian culture, particularly the Minangkabau culture. Dr. Rina hopes that these students will acquire valuable knowledge and experience that they can utilize when they return to their home country.
The international services office will ensure that the twelve international students participating in the Nursing Faculty Introduction Program have access to excellent facilities and support services for a comfortable and productive learning experience during their visit. "We are prepared to support foreign students across various study programs," she stated.
