6th September 2025, A total of ten international students from Universitas Andalas (Unand) took part in the Sawahlunto International Songket Silungkang Carnival (SISSCa) 2025, held in Sawahlunto, West Sumatra.

Today, on August 17, 2025, Universitas Andalas celebrated Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day with a heartwarming ceremony at the Rectorate Square. Our international students added a special touch by wearing traditional clothing from their home countries, bringing vibrant color and cultural pride to the celebration.

On July 25, 2025, the International Office of Universitas Andalas warmly welcomed a visit from the International Office of UIN Imam Bonjol.

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, international students of Universitas Andalas actively participated in an International Networking Space organized by AIESEC in Universitas Andalas. The event was held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seminar Room, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Andalas.

This program aimed to introduce the richness of traditional Minangkabau cuisine and cultural heritage to both domestic and international participants.
