On Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, International Students of Universitas Andalas participated in the 'Jalan Sehat' activity to commemorate UNAND's 68th anniversary. More than 6000 participants attended this activity, including students, education support staff, lecturers, and the general public.

On Thursday, September 6th, 2024, the International Office of Andalas University successfully held a virtual sharing session via Zoom meeting which was attended by the International Affairs Office (KUI) from various universities in Indonesia. This event was held to commemorate the 68th Anniversary of Andalas University with the theme "Accelerating Innovation Transforming For Greater Impact". On this occasion, the International Office of Andalas University raised the theme "The Role of the International Offices in the Internationalization of Universities". This activity aims to realize internationalization in Higher Education as well as strengthening the role of the International Services Office in realizing internationalization.

On Monday, 5th August 2024, International Students of Universitas Andalas attended the opening ceremony of the Joint International Conference on Language and Society organized by the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Andalas and the Academy of Malay Studies, University of Malaya.

Congratulations to Universitas Andalas students who were selected as awarded IISMA Co-Funding 2024. Enjoy studying and gaining knowledge at the university of your choice. 

IISMA is a Government of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students on mobility programs to overseas universities.  IISMA is designed to accommodate undergraduate and vocational students to spend one semester (approximately 16 weeks) at university to study, experience the host country's culture, and do practical assignments to hone their skills. This program is centrally managed by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Kemdikbudristek (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology or MoECRT) funded by the Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan/Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). Application of participation is open for undergraduate and vocational students from all Indonesian higher education institutions.
